Paul's personal story

I am writing to you guys that I finally found a website and charity where I felt I can be heard. I am currently in conversation with a group of lawyers about my case. I have been wrongfully accused by my ex partner for frauds and the worse of it fathering 7 kids to 7 different women and just ran away.

She just gave birth to a child which is supposedly mine. I’ve paid for all her doctor’s appointments and looked after her rent only to turn around and tell me the baby is not mine. She decided to post a story about me on multiple social media platforms (TikTok and instagram) with one video amounting to 1.4 million views, another 1.1 million and 8k views. This has caused me to lose my job and lose friends but I am grateful and lucky that I have my family’s support.

The worse of it all is that during our 10 months relationship I have endured physical/emotional/psychological abuse and I tell myself, “who is going to believe a 6’5” athletic build male?”. She has threatened to call the police on me on numerous occasions every time we fight and ultimately use the pregnancy and the child against me.

I feel alone being so far away from family living in Dubai but I found hope reading other victim’s stories on your website knowing that I am not alone. I no longer have a job and am relying on family help and donations for my lawyer’s fees as we’re organising a concern letter to send to my ex and 1/7 media outlets who shared her story.

Thank you for providing a safe space for us male victims. In the future I will be advocating for you guys. I have nephews and I hope one day they don’t go through what I am going through right now.

THANK YOU.
