The country’s first domestic violence shelter for men and their children has opened in Aargau. Founders of the shelter say the number of male domestic violence victims is on the rise. They say society doesn’t take the problem seriously, and that many men don’t want to come forward. The shelter is run by a private association but it hopes to eventually receive public funding.
